Two Doubles on Feature Table
Manig Loeser opened for 8,000 under the gun, then Olivier Paris, a couple of seats over, checked with the dealer to make certain they were in the money before moving in for his last 29,000. Everyone else bowed out and Loeser called, having Paris covered.
Olivier Paris: J?J?
Manig Loeser: 5?5?
The board ran out 4?3?Q?6?A? and despite picking up a straight draw on the turn, Loeser's inferior pair remained so. Paris took the much-needed double-up.
Then it was Aleksandr Volkov who got all in for 29,000 from early position. Big stack Silviu Baltateanu in the hijack was his only caller.
Aleksandr Volkov: J?J?
Silviu Baltateanu: 10?10?
Again the short-stack had the better pair and it held up on the 9?5?Q?2?2? runout. Volkov got his much-needed double-up as well.
