First Flight of �1,100 Eureka Main Event Begins Today
Welcome to the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague here at Hilton Prague, where Day 1a (the first of six starting flights) of the �1,100 Eureka Main Event is set to begin at 2 p.m. local time.
Last December, the event drew a massive 4,017-entry field across four starting flights with Pieter Theelen emerging victorious after defeating Anton Suarez heads-up to take home his first EPT title at the �496,760 first-place prize. Given the two additional starting flights this time around, we expect there's a good chance for a record-setting field to participate.

Players will begin with 30,000 in chips and blinds will start at 100/100 with a 100 big-blind ante in Level 1. Each level will last 40 minutes and players are allowed one reentry per flight. Breaks of 20 minutes will be held after every three levels and an extended 75-minute break will take place at the end of Level 8. Late registration will close at the end of Level 10 and play will end for the day once the field is reduced to 15% of the total entries. All players who survive into Day 2 are guaranteed to make the money (the prize pool will be announced at the start of Day 2).
Day 1b will also take place today beginning at 7 p.m. local time with a similar structure, except levels will last 30 minutes each and there will be no extended breaks.
