Day 1f of €1,100 Eureka Main Event Begins at 6 PM

PokerStars
PokerStars

The 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague here at Hilton Prague continued today with the €1,100 Eureka Main Event. Day 1e, the penultimate of the six starting flights, got underway this morning with its turbo counterpart, Day 1f, set to kick off at 6 p.m.

Today will be the last opportunity for those who have not been fortunate enough to secure a stack for Day 2 to progress to the next stage of the tournament. The same event last year drew an impressive 4,017 entries across four different starting flights. With the addition of two more day ones, it is anticipated this event will round up the EPT’s calendar year with another record-breaking field.

The current Day 2 chip leader is Marcin Dziubdziela of Poland who has been the only player so far to eclipse the 800,000-chip mark.

Each player will receive a starting stack of 30,000 with the blinds commencing at 100/100 with a 100 big-blind ante. The levels will be 20 minutes long with players allowed one reentry per flight; this differs from all the previous turbo flights which have had 30-minute levels. A break of 15 minutes will be held after every five levels. Late registration will close at the end of Level 10 and play will end for the day once the field is reduced to 15 percent of the total entries. All players who survive into Day 2 are guaranteed to make the money (the prize pool will be announced at the start of Day 2).

Stay tuned to PokerNews for the coverage of this event from the moment cards are in the air until a winner is crowned on the 11th of December.
