175 Players Back on Day 3 of the EPT Prague Main Event
Another day of competition starts at the Hilton Prague, with Day 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague Main Event. After Day 2 saw the bubble burst, 175 players out of a record 1,285 entrants progressed to the next step in the largest EPT Prague Main Event ever. Each of them is guaranteed to win €9,100, but they are also all aiming for the first prize of €1,030,000.
After Day 2, Belgium's Arthur Thiriart finished just shy of the million-chip mark, bagging the lead with 959,000 chips. He is closely followed by Duco ten Haven (920,000), while the gap is wider with Dejan Jakovljevic (684,000), Jacob Amsellem (680,000) and Jovan Kenjic (679,000), who complete the top five.

The field is obviously getting smaller and smaller but a lot familiar faces remain, including EPT champions Robin Ylitalo (499,000), Steve O’Dwyer (471,000), Niall Farrell (233,000) and Grzegorz Glowny (98,000).
PokerStars Team Pro Ramon Colillas (492,000) also qualified for Day 3, along with recent WSOP Europe bracelet winners Max Neugebauer (559,000) and Omar Eljach (452,000), or Jon Kyte (615,000), Teun Mulder (445,000), Marle Spragg (373,000), Maria Lampropulos (255,000), Dario Sammartino (188,000), and Tamas Adamszki (176,000).
Day 3 will kick off at noon local time on Level 16 with blinds of 2,000-5,000 and a 5,000 big blind ante. Five 90-minute levels will be played today before wrapping up. Furthermore, a 30-second shot clock will be implemented, with players receiving six time bank cards at the beginning of the day.
