Donato De Bonis kicked things off with a standard open and Davide Marabello three-bet to 2,500 from the button before Emmanoued Chalkiotes four-bet to 6,500 from the small blind. De Bonis got out of the way while Marabello called.

Chalkiotes continued for 3,800 on the Q?5?3? flop and then Marabello made it 9,800. Chalkiotes jammed as the bigger stack, and Marabello, who had around 23,000 more behind, went into the tank. After his thinking time, he let go of his hand.

Chalkiotes excitedly said he'd show his hand if Marabello would show his but the latter's cards were already in the muck.
