The final day of Event #40: 10,200 Pot-Limit Omaha is set to begin at noon local time here at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona hosted by Casino Barcelona. Only 15 players from a field of 106 entrants found a bag by the end of Day 1, one of whom will take home the trophy and lions share of the 1,028,200 prize pool by the end of play today.

Patrick Kennedy holds the current chip lead after finishing Day 1 with an impressive 850,000 in chips, a stack worth 70 big blinds. Kennedy is most closely followed by Ka Kwan Lau (716,000) and Mike Watson (538,000).

Lau is no stranger to tournament success with just over $6,000,000 in career tournament earnings. Given that two of his three best scores were in high-stakes Pot-Limit Omaha events, Lau finds himself in an excellent position to capture his third win at the European Poker Tour in today's event. Lau first won a 10,300 PLO event at EPT Malta for 107,670 before taking down the 10,300 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller just last year at EPT Barcelona for 910,400, his second-largest tournament score.
