Mas Doubles in Bubble Four-Bet Pot
After a raise to 8,000, Theo Degrave three-bet to 20,000 on the button. Oscar Mas then made it 55,000 to go in the small blind. The initial raiser folded before Degrave tossed in a call.
Mas took a few minutes before checking the 10?Q?6? flop, after which Degrave quickly followed. Mas checked again on the 2? turn, this time seeing a bet of 42,000 from his opponent.
Mas called to the K? river, where he checked for a third time. Degrave then shoved all in, covering the 155,000 of Mas. Mas went in the tank for several minutes before finally sticking in a call, putting himself at risk of becoming the bubble boy.
Once all the other tables had finished playing, Mas turned over K?K? for a rivered set of kings, besting the set of queens of Degrave, who showed Q?Q?.
Mas doubled up to more than double the average stack, leaving Degrave with 20 big blinds.
