Cai Loses Back-to-Back Pots
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Haoran Cai hasn't enjoyed the last few moments over at his table as the Chinese player had just lost back-to-back pots.
First, Simon Wiciak raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Evgenii Sboev called from the small blind. Cai then squeezed to 115,000 out of the big blind, which got Wiciak to fold. Sboev then backraised all in for around 700,000, and Cai folded.
In the next hand, Wiciak opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Cai called from the small blind.
On the 8?J?2? flop, both players checked to the 6? turn. Cai led out for 25,000, Wiciak raised to 75,000, and Cai called.
An 8? fell on the river and after Cai checked, Wiciak bet 100,000. Cai used some extra time but eventually folded.
