The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus taking place at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa continues today with the $1,100 Eureka Main Event. With four of the six starting flights already having concluded yesterday, and Day 1e currently underway, a 5 p.m. start time will make way for the final turbo starting flight, Day 1f.

Early into the morning of yesterday's turbo flight, Mark Steven Smith bagged the chip lead taking through a total of 1,050,000 for the Day 2 restart. This result puts Smith second in the overall ranking, just behind Day 1c chip leader Marian Virlanuta with 1,156,000; the only two players to have eclipsed the one million chip mark so far.
