Thus far, one top bounty of $50,000 has been pulled, won by Yulian Bogdanov. He also pulled three other bounties, worth an additional $25,000, profiting the most from the bounty prize pool so far.
Tom Vogelsang made a larger than usual raise to 100,000 in middle position. Marcelo Bonanata flat-called in the hijack before Santhosh Suvarna also came along in the big blind.
Suvarna checked to Vogelsang on the 6?7?A? flop, and he tossed in a bet of 120,000. Bonanata called and Suvarna folded, after which the 6? turn was put on the felt.
Vogelsang sized up to 290,000 and received another call. He then piled in 380,000 on the 4? river, getting snapped off.
Vogelsang showed A?J? for top pair, but he was outkicked by the A?K? of Bonanata, who won the pot and took over the chiplead.
Aleksejs Ponakovs limped in from under the gun and Marcelo Bonanata followed suit on the button. Yulian Bogdanov covered both opponents and jammed all in from the big blind.
Ponakovs quickly folded but Bonanata sighed and tossed in a call for 760,000.
Marcelo Bonanata: 10?10?
Yulian Bogdanov: K?J?
Bonanata won the flip when Bogdanov found no kings or jacks on the 6?4?7?4?8? board. He received a huge double up, leaving Bogdanov with a stack of just over four big blinds.
Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 80,000 under the gun. Tom Vogelsang called in middle position, Marcelo Bonanata did so in the hijack, and Santhosh Suvarna defended his big blind.
The flop fell Q?2?5?. Suvarna checked to Ponakovs, who continued for 90,000. Vogelsang called before Bonanata quickly folded. Suvarna then put in a check-raise to 235,000, which folded out Ponakovs.
The action was not over yet, however, as Vogelsang went on to put Suvarna all-in for 635,000 total. Suvarna spent two time banks before deciding to fold, leaving himself ten big blinds.
Yulian Bogdanov open-jammed his button, covering both blinds. Santhosh Suvarna took a look at his cards in the big blind and quickly called for 225,000.
Santhosh Suvarna: A?8?
Yulian Bogdanov: J?10?
Neither player received help on the 9?2?5?6?5? runout, doubling up Suvarna and leaving Bogdanov with 16 big blinds.
