Lin and Korzinin in Mood for Gamble
Ren Lin and Vladimir Korzinin were in the mood for gambling. Before the hand, they were flipping Lin's credit card for money. Then the hand started and the gambling continued.
Lin raised from under the gun, Korzinin three-bet to 28,000 from a couple of seats across, then Lin moved all in. Korzinin called for around 165,000 and was slightly covered as players turned their cards.
Vladimir Korzinin: 8?8?
Ren Lin: 10?9?
Lin flipped his hand first and the table erupted. Korzinin then said that he had "lower cards" before revealing his hand to show that the two of them were still flipping.
"What the fuck is this?!" said a neutral player.
The board ran out 8?7?J?K?5? and again the table burst into laughter mixed with disbelief. Korzinin had flopped a set of eights, but Lin had flopped a straight.
Lin held to win the pot and Korzinin was eliminated, although he again stated his intentions to rejoin the tournament, hoping to get back on the same table so he could continue the fun with Lin.
