Almeida’s Ace Takes Down Kilennikov
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Gonzalo Almeida kicked off the action from the hijack with a raise to 300, and Alexandr Kilennikov in the cutoff and both of the blinds called.
The 7?A?Q? flop saw checks from the blinds, leaving Almeida to fire a bet of 400. Kilennikov made the call, Ignas Jasinevicius folded his small blind, but Ivan Bryksin in the big blind stuck around with a call as well.
Bryksin checked the K? turn, and Almeida followed suit. Kilennikov, however, took the opportunity to bet 600, with Almeida being the only caller.
When the Q? landed on the river, both players checked. Almeida revealed A?J? for two pair, and with Kilennikov mucking his hand, Almeida scooped the pot.
