€1,100 FPS Paris Main Event Continues With Day 1c
The PokerStars European Poker Tour has returned to Paris for the second year running, this time at the Le Palais de Congres conference center, which provides a much bigger, more spacious and more impressive venue that is sure to provide an unmatched player experience.
The €1,100 France Poker Series Main Event continues today with Day 1c, the third of six starting flights, commencing at midday local time. Day 1d also runs today, starting at 6 p.m. local time.
The same event last year attracted 2,071 entries. Local player Alan Goasdoue defeated fellow Frenchman Jean-Luc Labryga in heads-up play to earn the €287,830 top prize. With additional starting flights running, those numbers could well be topped this year.
Entry into the FPS Main Event grants participants starting stacks of 30,000 chips. Blind levels commence at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 11 and players can take one entry per remaining flight.
Day 1a and Day 1b have already been completed, both concluding in the early hours of the morning. Fabian Niederreiter of Germany emerged as the overall chip leader with 776,000 chips and will be the player to beat for new entries looking to claim the top spot as the tournament progresses.
Plenty of other notable players have already bagged for Day 2, including Pokerstars Ambassadors Felix Schneiders (151,000) and Maria Konnikova (210,000) along with Marle Spragg (180,000).
