Suvarna Leads, Dvoress Looking For Third Series Title in €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Dvoress

Day 1 of the €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em event drew 31 entries and generated a €752,640 prize pool thus far here at the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris inside Le Palais des Congrès. Of those entrants, just 13 found navigated their way to a bag last night with Indian businessman Santhosh Suvarna leading the pack after ending with 616,000. With late registration remaining open until the start of play today, those numbers are expected to grow further.

Daniel Dvoress bagged seventh in chips with 195,000 and looks poised to continue his incredible run at EPT Paris. Dvoress has cashed in every €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em event so far this tour, including winning outright twice - once after overcoming a 62-entry field and defeating Niklas Astedt heads-up last week for €444,840 and more recently after besting a 34-entry field and defeating Adrian Mateos heads-up for €275,780.

Also in the mix are EPT Main Event Champions Adrian Mateos (80,000) and Artur Martirosian (51,000), who will surely be looking to pad their poker resumes with a win today.
