The PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris continues today at Le Palais des Congres. The action is heating up in the Main Event and, running alongside it in the Side Room, the 3,000 Mystery Bounty is about to enter Day 2.

Mystery Bounties are set to come into play at the start of the day, with each returning player given a token. When a player knocks out an opponent, they earn their token and can trade it in for an envelope containing a cash prize that could be worth anything from 500 to 100,000.

The event has already smashed records from last year's tournament, which attracted a total of 787 entries. This year, 827 runners competed on Day 1. Of those, 213 bagged and tagged to return to the felt today. A handful more have taken advantage of the fact that late registration remains open until the start of Day 2.

Full entry numbers, prize pools, and bounty prizes will be confirmed once Day 2 gets underway at 12:30 p.m. local time.

Stephane Gabarre of France returns as the Day 2 chip leader with 401,500, followed by Elie Dib in second with 372,500 and Christian Rotundo in third with 357,500. PokerStars Ambassador Elias Gutierre is also among the players to make it through, amassing a stack of 174,500.
