Troyanovskiy Hero-Calls At the Wrong Time
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
With the turn showing 7?5?2?6?, Antoine Camors bet 11,500 out of the small blind and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called in the big blind. Carmors then jammed the J? on the river and Troyanovskiy went into a brief tank.
With around 27,000 behind, Troyanovskiy opted to call all-in and Camors exposed his 5?5? for a set of fives. Troyanovskiy flashed his 8?2? for the bottom pair and exited the tournament area without word.
There was some utter confusion by the other players at the table before Gediminas Uselis explained that there had been an open-raise and a call by Camors in the small blind. Troyanovskiy squeezed in the big blind, then checked back the flop before calling the turn and river.
