Erlei Left With a Chip and a Chair, Can't Spin it Up

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Friedrich Raez moved all in from the button for 355,000. Udo Erlei called in the big blind.

Friedrich Raez: A?4?All in
Udo Erlei: 9?8?

Erlei had Raez covered by 5,000. Raez rivered an ace across the K?10?3?7?A? runout and was left with a single chip.

The next hand. Claudio Di Giacomo opened to 50,000 from early position. Danut-Florin Chisu called on the button. Erlei put in his last 5,000 in the small blind and Pawel Krol defended the big blind.

He checked the Q?10?6? flop to Di Giacomo who bet 70,000. Chisu called on the button and Krol folded. The K? turn saw a bet of 500,000 from Di Giacomo. Krol folded and Erlei turned his hand over.

Udo Erlei: 9?2?All in
Claudio Di Giacomo: A?K?

Erlei was drawing dead and the 8? river was a mere formality. Chisu bust a few hands later.

Lofberg Busts Tetart

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action folded to Simon Lofberg in the small blind who limped for 25,000. Nathan Tetart in the big blind raised to 75,000 and to his surprise was met by a shove from Lofberg for the rest of his 80,000 stack.

Tetart seemed to be in a lot pain as a pay jump was approaching, but after a couple of minutes he flicked in the rest of his stack.

Nathan Tetart: A?6? All in
Simon Lofberg: A?7?

Although Tetart was pipped by Lofberg, he had some opportunity to chop on 8?5?J?, the 7? on the turn came with more outs for Tetart but no dice on the K? river.

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikalai Ihnatovich opened the action to 60,000 from middle position. The action folded to Virgile Turchi in the small blind, who announced all in. The big blind folded, and Ihnatovich made the call.

Virgile Turchi: 8?8? All in
Mikalai Ihnatovich: 7?7?

"Not again," Ihnatovich said, asking the dealer for a seven this time. However, his wish wasn't granted as the dealer put out a full board of 10?9?5?10?K?. Turchi's pair of eights held up, and he won the pot, pushing his stack over the million-chip mark.

Lofberg Flops the World

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Simon Lofberg
Simon Lofberg

Simon Lofberg moved all in from late position for 185,000, and Nathan Tetart responded by going all in as well from his direct left.

Simon Lofberg: Q?10? All in
Nathan Tetart: A?9?

Lofberg needed to hit something to survive, and although the flop of J?3?9? didn't give him a pair, it provided him with plenty of outs. The K? on the turn was one of them, and the J? on the river completed his flush, securing an important double up.

Schuh Put in the Blender

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river of A?K?7?8?K?. Michal Schuh in the big blind was facing an all-in check-raise from Felix Rabas from the small blind. There was around 300,000 in the pot including Schuh's river bet.

Schuh was clearly not happy with the spot he was put in as he was covered by Rabas. Around three to five minutes elapsed before the clock was eventually called.

Schuh had five seconds left of the given 30 seconds of time before he folded. He tapped the table and said "nice bluff" to his opponent, before adding "why didn't I check back."

Johan Eklind
Johan Eklind

There were around 470,000 chips in the middle on K?J?4?7?. Johan Eklind from the small blind checked his option to the big blind Carl Falk who checked behind.

Eklind led when the 7? hit the river for 130,000 and Falk was in the tank with his jumper over his mouth.

After a few minutes Falk decided to call but was shown the nuts as Eklind tabled A?7?. This pot took Eklind's stack to over 1,000,000.
