Neugebauer's River Raise Gets the Job Done

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

Max Neugebauer raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and Benjamin Pollak defended out of the big blind.

The two players checked the 6?5?4? flop for the 9? to come on the turn. Pollak led out for 7,500 and Neugebauer called.

Pollak bet 11,000 when the 3? dropped on the river and was met by a raise to 40,000 from Neugebauer. Pollak reluctantly folded and Neugebauer dragged in the pot.

Zouari Wins Classic Race to Double Through Oberlieben

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jeremie Zouari
Jeremie Zouari

Jeremie Zouari was already all-in and at risk for his approximately 90,000 against Ken Oberlieben, who had Zouari covered.

Jeremie Zouari: A?K?All in
Ken Oberlieben: Q?Q?

The 8?3?4? flop looked bleak for Zouari, but the A? turn vaulted him into the lead after pairing his ace.

The A? river needlessly improved Zouari to trips and he was awarded the double up.

Knafo Slams Down Eight-High

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Stephane Knafo
Stephane Knafo

Philipp Engel raised to 4,000 from under the gun. Stephane Knafo called from the hijack, Adrian State called from the button, but Ryan Plant squeezed to 20,000 from the small blind. Engel folded, but Knafo and State called.

Plant put out a continuation-bet of 12,000 on the 2?A?6? flop and was met by an immediate shove by Knafo for roughly 50,000. State and Plant both quickly folded and Knafo slammed down 8?7? for just an eight-high flush draw.

According to his former tablemates, Parker Talbot opened and then three-bet all in against Arthur Thiriart. The Belgian called with AxQx and was racing against the 10x10x of Talbot.

However, there was an Ax on the river which sent Talbot to the rail. A few minutes later, another PokerStars Ambassador joined the table in the shape of Kenny Hallaert, with Adam McKola also seated at the same table.
