Ferenc Vardai opened to 500 from the cutoff, but Abraham Uittenbogaard on the button three-bet to 1,200. Last year's runner-up Jon Kyte in the big blind four-bet to 4,400, making Vardai fold. Uittenbogaard however made the call.
Both players checked the 7?6?9? flop leading to the 2? turn where Kyte bet 5,400. Uittenbogaard called, but found himself in a tough spot after Kyte bet 25,000 on the A? river. He counted his stack and said "Hero-call" while pushing his 16,000-chip stack forward.
