Without doubt the story of day 1a was all about Johnny Lodden. The young Norwegian may dress like a 1980s breakdancer but he clearly leaves all his best moves for the card table. It seems he has a knack of finding a way to win every hand he is in and as the day went on he gathered more and more momentum. Not scared to get all his chips in on a stone cold bluff, expect to see this online star either at the final table or doubling up the eventual winner.
Day 1b starts in just over an hour with a lot of big names coming to the party including Marcel Luske, Roland De Wolfe and the rest of the Hendon Mob. If day 1a was anything to go by its going to be a long day and at the end of it we should see if anyone can gather enough chips to stand up to Johnny Lodden.
