Short Day for Wigg
It's been a short day for Wigg, who started out with 92,000, but has zero chips right now. Wigg was already down to about 50,000 in chips when he played his last hand.
A player in early position opened, and Joe Ebanks on the button made the call. Anton Wigg squeezed from the big blind to 6,600 with and both opponents made the call.
The flop came , and Wigg continued for 11,000. His first opponent made the call, but Ebanks on the button put up more of a fight. The two of them got their chips in the middle, and it turned out Ebanks had trapped with aces.
Wigg wouldn't hit a king on the turn or river and was sent to the rail. Despite a very short day today, Wigg's EPT Barcelona hasn't been all that bad actually. Earlier this week he beat a 157-strong €2k NLH / PLO Turbo field for €70,800.
