EPT Deauville High Roller Day 2
Welcome back to Day 2 of the PokerStars.fr European Poker Tour Season 11 High Roller at the Casino Barrière, the penultimate day of the tournament.
Yesterday saw a new record set for a High Roller in Deauville with 122 entrants made up of 101 unique players and 21 re-entries. Registration is open until 15 minutes before the start of play and it would be no surprise to see some of those who were knocked out yesterday fire a second bullet for the chance to win a huge pay-day. €10,300 will buy a stack of 25 big blinds with PokerStars Team Pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier amongst those who still have a chance to re-enter.
Eric Sfez, who won the EPT Season 8 High Roller in Deauville, is the man to catch with 315,300 chips. Jonathan Little is second on 283,100 and third is Ivan Luca with 244,300.
Other notables among the current 60 survivors still in the hunt include Joao Vieira (174,100), Vladimir Troyanovskiy (147,100), Ivan Soshnikov (137,900), Davidi Kitai (137,400), Robin Ylitalo (127,300)and the other PokerStars Team Pro Eugene Katchalov (124,700).
