Hands #84-87: First Hands of the Level

Hand #84: Sebastian Pauli held {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and raised to 200,000 from the small blind. He took down the pot before the flop.

Hand #85: Pauli had the button. He raised to 200,000 with {A-Clubs}{7-Spades} and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #86: Artur Koren looked down at {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} under the gun. He made it 160,000 to go and the action folded around to Kevin MacPhee in the big blind. MacPhee called with {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and the flop came down {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Both players checked the flop and the {2-Hearts} touched down on the turn. Two more checks allowed the {J-Spades} to complete the board. Both plaeyrs checked again and Koren took the pot with ace high.

Hand #87: Jake Cody had {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and opened his button to 175,000. Koren called from the big blind with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, allowing the flop to come {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the {9-Spades} paired the board on the turn.

Koren reached for chips and flung 180,000 into the middle. Cody called and the {Q-Hearts} on the river gave each player the same straight. Koren bet 290,000, Cody called, and the two players chopped the pot.

Hand #82: Jake Cody opened to 125,000 from the cutoff with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Action folded to Kevin Killeen in the big blind and he called with {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {J-Clubs} on fourth street. Killeen checked a second time, Cody bet 125,000, and Killeen gave it up.

Hand #83: Action folded to Killeen in the small blind and he peered down at {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. He cut out a raise to 155,000, putting action on Sebastian Pauli in the big blind. He looked down at {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and called the raise.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Pauli check-folded to a continuation bet of 130,000.

Hand #79: Kevin MacPhee raised under the gun with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} to 120,000 and Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody called from the big blind with {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Cody check-called 135,000.

On the turn the {A-Spades} hit and Cody checked again after which MacPhee checked behind. On the river the {K-Hearts} hit and both players checked. MacPhee showed the winning hand and he raked in this pot.

Hand #80: Artur Koren raised under the gun with {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} to 120,000 and he won the pot.

Hand #81: Kevin MacPhee moved all in from the small blind to put Artur Koren at risk in the big blind. MacPhee had {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Koren looked down on {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Koren went into the tank for quite a while and looked like he was going to call, and in the end he did. Koren was at risk for 1,120,000 and the showdown went as following

The flop brought {9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Koren picked up a pair and a flush draw. On the turn the {K-Hearts} hit and Koren made two pair to take down this pot. On the river the {3-Clubs} hit and Koren raked in a big double up to 2.3 million chips. MacPhee was left with 1.9 million.

Killeen checked, Cody continued for 140,000, and Killeen called to see the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Killeen checked his straight and Cody knocked the table back. The {5-Clubs} finished off the and Killeen reached for chips. He moved 245,000 into the middle and Cody instantly released his hand.

Hand #77: Kevin MacPhee was in the cutoff and raised to 120,000 with {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. He took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #78: Cody was under the gun and made it 125,000 to go. Artur Koren peered at his cards in the cutoff and announced a three-bet to 285,000. Cody moved all in over the top for 2.275 million and Koren instantly called.
