Deck Change

Interesting fact of the night: one of the cards flew of the table just now, and the dealer immediately requested a deck change. New cards!

Deal or no Deal?

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

The three remaining players are discussing a deal at the moment. These are the prizes they are still fighting for, and the chipcounts. Also included are ICM numbers which do not factor in that there needs to be something left to play for.

Simon Deadman Eliminated in 4th place (€238,320)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Simon Deadman
Simon Deadman

Laurynas Levinskas opened for 320,000 under the gun and his neighbor Simon Deadman shoved from the button. There was no one asking for a count as small blind Andrey Zaichenko immediately shoved all in and both two other players folded. Levinskas told that he folded a bad ace which gave Deadman a pained face as he was already looking at a bad showdown.

Simon Deadman: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Andrey Zaichenko: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Rail bird Jack Salter asked for a two-spade flop and got what he asked for: {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Someone else in the audience shouted for a high card and got the {9-Hearts} which gave some split pot possibilities. The {2-Spades} on the river was not one of those cards though and Deadman departed from the tournament area.

Another Shorty with a Hand

Francois Billard
Francois Billard

This time Francois Billard in the small blind pushed all in for 1,285,000. Laurynas Levinskas in the big blind instantly called. Levinskas had a real hand with {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} but Billard had a "realer" hand with {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}.

Another board full of blanks ({Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}) later it was Zaichenko who rolled his eyes again, and sighed "Unbelievable!" with a smile.

Deadman Doubles through Zaichenko

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Simon Deadman had only 815,000 left and shoved all in from the button. Small blind Andrey Zaichenko re shoved from the small blind and it was a showdown. Again the short stack had been lucky enough to find a real big hand as Deadman showed up to the battle holding {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, Zaichenko had {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

The flop ({2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}), turn ({2-Spades}) and river ({2-Diamonds}) were all blanks and Deadman doubled.

Zaichenko Takes From Levinskas

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Andrey Zaichenko raised to 320,000 from the button and was called by Laurynas Levinskas on the big blind.

The flop came down {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Levinskas checked. Zaichenko bet out 300,000 which was called before the {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

Levinskas checked call another bet of 400,000 before both players quickly checked the {a-Spades} on the river.

Levinskas showed {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} for two pair but it was not enough as Zaichenko showed his {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a higher two pair.

1.6 Million Bet

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Andrey Zaichenko opened the button for 250,000 and both small blind Francois Billard and big blind Laurynas Levinskas made the call.

All three of them checked on {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Billard did the same on the {7-Hearts} turn. Levinskas now bet 375,000 and both Zaichenko and Billard made the call.

The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and was anything but a blank. Billard checked and Levinskas bet a hefty 1.6 million. Both Zaichenko and Billard quickly folded.
