Boeree Versus Salter
We arrived at the table with the flop already showing .
Jack Salter had checked from the big blind as did Liv Boeree from middle position. Their opponent in the hijack made it 3,700 to go as the decision fell back on Salter. He then raised it up to 10,300 which was called moments later by Boeree as well as the original better.
The saw all three players check before the dealer produced the on the river. Salter paused for a moment before betting out 13,800. Boeree then contemplated her next move for a minute before sliding out a raise to 45,000. The player in the hijack instantly mucked his hand with the play falling back on Salter. Two minutes into his tank the player in the hijack called time and a tournament director made their way to the table.
Salter clock was running down and with ten seconds to go buried his head into his arms as his time ran out. His hand was mucked and the pot was pushed over to Boeree. She then tabled her for top pair as she began stacking up her chips.
