Double Knock Out Makes Graner Top Dog
Level 19
: 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
"Yeah raise, I call, call call, bet flop, call, shove shove, call" was about what Stephen Graner told us when we, with our jaws still on the ground, asked what had happened in the double knock out we just wrote down.
Graner apparently had flatted with pocket aces only to get a lot of action on the flop. On he got it in three way with his up against and for Reto Timucin Locher and Philipp Teipel.
The on the turn was a blank and the on the river didn't change anything effectively either. A double knock out made Graner the chip leader of the tournament with about half an hour on the clock. Reto Timucin Locher finished 77th as he had fewer chips than Philipp Teipel who finished 76th.
