Tim Loses Again

The next hand Tim raised again, Rasmus made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Spades}, check-check {9-Spades} and the turn was checked also. Rasmus won with a bet on the {3-Hearts} river.

Vance vs. Magnus

Magnus Hansen
Magnus Hansen
Tim made it 73,000, Magnus called and the flop was dealt {7-Spades}{K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Magnus checked and told Tim he has pockets sevens! Tim bet 160,000 to the tune of Sgt Pepper. Magnus then re-raised all in.

Tim said: "I don't think I can make the call even though I have top pair." He then asked Thomas for permission to stand up, which was granted. Then he changed his mind and said: "I don't think I can lay this down, if you have another set you must be the luckiest man in Copenhagen." He still did not make the call and asked for a count. Once he had the count he counted out what he would have left if he made the call and lost.

"I can build back up in a couple of rounds," he said, still not calling.

Throughout this Magnus has sat like a statue, completely still.

Finally after all the posturing Tim folded.

Danny Ryan Eliminated

Danny Ryan
Danny Ryan
Danny Ryan open pushed, Soren Jensen looked tempted but gave it up; however, Rasmus instacalled from the big blind. On their backs:

Rasmus {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Danny {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The flop brought no hope for Danny as it fell: {2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, the {A-Clubs} took away the chop outs and the river was the {3-Hearts} to eliminate Danny Ryan in 5th place earning him $ 255,638.

Rasmus Raising

Rasmus raised for the second time in a row and Tim had a good think in the big blind. "Have you got a real hand?" asked the American, while frantically riffling his chips. Tim really looked constricted confined to his seat. "I just call," he said eventually.

Flop {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Rasmus bet 120,000. Tim had a conversation with himself before folding.

Next hand Rasmus raised again and took the blinds.
