Short in Scandi Corner
Viktor Blok and Gus Hansen both have very short stacks and are bound to double or bust anytime soon.
Blom is taking the patient approach whereas Hansen is playing as many pots as he can. This tactic saw him hover between seven and ten thousand over the course of two orbits before he dropped down to 2,150 after a clash with Ziv Bachar.
Bachar opened from early position and Hansen defended his big blind to see a flop appear. Hansen led for 750 and Bachar called to the turn where Hansen checked to him. The Dane got tricky and raised to 2,175 and was called.
On the river Hansen checked and tank-called a 2,000 bet. Bachar opened and Hansen mucked saying, "Yeah, that was a bad card that ten!"
Most of the table laughed but it's not funny having a liitle more than 2,000 chips in front of you.
