Day 3 of the Pokerstars 1,100 ESPT/UKIPT Malaga Main Event has come to an end with only 15 players advancing to the final day from the 134 that started the day at Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada.

Guido Pieraccini is the overnight chip leader with 7,350,000 chips. The Italian went on a tear shortly after the three-table redraw, knocking out Enzo Enzo, Viesturs Baumanis, and Juanjo Garcia to take 25% of the chips in play and puts him in pole position to lift the Main Event trophy and the top prize of 185,000.

Pieraccinis main rival is Artus Gimenez who also knocked a number of players out in the latter stages including Doroslav Rasiukevic, Antonio Alfalia, and Jun Beum Chun in quick succession.
