Eelis Parssinen Rolled Over By Rivered Wheel

Blinds: 25,000/50,000/6,000

Eelis Parssinen raised to 175,000 under the gun only to have "norcek6" three-bet to 600,000 next to act. Action folded back to Parssinen and he called off for 96,102.

Eelis Parssinen: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} (39.54%)
"norcek6": [adas4c5d[ (60.46%)

"norcek6" had pocket aces but Parssinen managed to pull ahead when the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop delivered him two pair. However, the running {4-Hearts} turn and {3-Hearts} river gave "norcek6" the best hand with a runner-runner wheel.

Parssinen was eliminated in 76th place for $2,264.65.

Lucas "CharlesPoint" Landa Exits in 86th Place

Blinds: 20,000/40,000/5,000

Action folded to "LEO 19" in the small blind and they raised to 120,000. Lucas "CharlesPoint" Landa called from the big blind and then called off his remaining 208,559 after "LEO 19" bet big on the {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop.

Lucas "CharlesPoint" Landa: {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} (44.88%)
"LEO 19": {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds} (55.12%)

The {6-Hearts} turn and {a-Spades} river improved "LEO 19" to two pair aces and jacks, which was good enough to send Landa to the rail in 86th place for $2,264.65.

Flopped Top Set Fails to Hold for Weis

Blinds: 12,500/25,000/3,000

Oliver Weis opened for 87,500 under the gun and left himself just 19,600 behind, which he called off after "guanjun100" made it 300,000 to go from the cutoff.

Olvier Weis: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} (29.88%)
"guanjun100: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs} (70.12%)

Weis was behind but made top set on the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop. Unfortunately for him, his lead was short lived as the {q-Hearts} spiked on the turn to give "guanjun100" a Broadway straight. The {2-Diamonds} river failed to pair the board and Weiz was ousted in 138th place for $1,451.04.

An Online Great Takes His Leave

Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

Chris Moorman, arguably the greatest online poker tournament player in history, raised to 70,000 under the gun and left himself 9,170 behind. Action folded to Brazil's "So a fimose" in the big blind and they rereaised, which prompted Moorman to call off.

Chris Moorman: {9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Spades} (49.94%)
"So a fimose": {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} (50.06%)

It was a coinflip, but Moorman failed to connect as the board ran out {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Moorman hit the rail in 184th place, good for $1,250.89.

De Silva Done and Dusted

Blinds: 8,000/16,000/2,000

Joshua McCully raised to 33,600 from the cutoff and Upeshka "GrossJeff" De Silva called from the big blind, leaving himself just 50,420 behind.

When the flop came down {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}, De Silva moved all in and McCully called.

Upeshka "GrossJeff" De Silva: {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} (23.6%)
Joshua McCully: {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} (76.4%)

McCully was ahead with a set of nines, but De Silva had a straight draw. The {4-Hearts} turn was of no consequence and neither was the {3-Clubs} river. With that, De Silva was eliminated in 204th place for $1,078.31.

Kempe Running Cold; Eliminated on Bubble Alongside "yoellalaska"

Blinds: 7,000/14,000/1,750

Rainer Kempe was short, more than doubled, and then tried to parlay his still-short stack into the money. Unfortunately for him, he dwindled down to just 270 as hand-for-hand play progressed.

"Running cold," he joked in the chat.

In what would be his final hand, there were 302 players still in contention (remember, 300 would get paid) and Kempe was all in via the ante from under the gun. Chris Rudolph raised to 35,000 next to act and the rest of the players got out of the way.

Chris Rudolph: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts} (58.87%)
Rainer Kempe: {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} (41.13%)

Kempe was behind and things got worse when the {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop gave Rudolph two pair. Neither the {2-Diamonds} turn nor {7-Diamonds} river helped Kempe, and he was eliminated in 302nd place.

Meanwhile, at the same time at a different table, "yoellalaska" was bounced in 301st place to officially burst the bubble. That means the remaining 300 players are each guaranteed a minimum payday of $929.62.
