H-58: $10,300 Thursday Thriller [Bounty] is now in the books, and Michel "CrossfireX" Dattani from Portugal has taken down the big prize. He made his way through a field of 159 entries to take the biggest share of the $1.59 million prize pool. Along the way, Dattani also collected an astonishing $226,094 in bounties to put his total win at nearly $340,000.

Dattani has more than $1 million in wins on the live circuit, including a win at EPT London in 2013 worth nearly $60,000, and a 7th at EPT Barcelona in 2018 for more than $100,000. He has three scores of over $100,000 on his resume, including a 2nd place finish in 2011 at World Series Of Poker Europe in Cannes. With bounties included, this win would appear to be the biggest of his career.

Day's Action

After more than four hours of registration, the field topped out at 159 entries. They hit the guarantee with a couple hours left in the registration period, and ended up with $1.59 million in the pot.

Once registration closed, there were 34 players left in action, and 23 paid spots. They made it down to the bubble very quickly, but then played for about 30 minutes before "judd trump" was the bubble player.

From there it took about an hour to make it to the final table with players like Isaac Haxton (23rd, $13,624), Bruno Volkmann (20th, $26,749), and Pavel "EzzzGame" Plesuv (15th, $43,779) falling to the side with prizes.

Action slowed right down when they reached the final nine, and it took more than an hour for Daniel Dvoress to exit in 9th for a total of $34,222 after he got jacks into queens and couldn't get there. That opened the floodgates and Eelis Parssinen quickly followed.

Bert Stevens and Ami Barer were both eliminated by Dattani in the same hand when his ace-king got there against jacks for Barer and queens for Stevens. Sergei Denisov then quickly collected a bounty from Canadian Mike Watson before Dattani took out Maksim "MAMOHT_T" Mamonov and Joao Simao in short order.

Dattani came into the heads up against Denisov with a huge lead, and was never really in danger. They only played a few hands heads up before Dattani picked off a bluff shove on the river with just a pair of fours to take down the top prize. Denisov won a total of $157,920 for his day's work, while Dattani's total was $339,484.
