Welcome to Day 1 of GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week Event #6: $25,500 Super High Roller

Super MILLION$ Week
Super MILLION$ Week

The latest High Roller festival has hit the online poker tables and the 2021 GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week kicks off with six tournaments, each of them featuring a guarantee of at least $1 million. Among them is also Event #6: Super High Roller, which comes with a price tag of $25,500 and a guarantee of $2.5 million.

There will be two editions of this event, which is the most expensive tournament of the entire schedule. Some of the biggest names in the world of poker are expected to battle for hundreds of thousands in prize money and the early list of casualties already reads like the who-is-who of the poker scene.

Nearly 30 players are registered one hour prior to the start including superstars such as Fedor Holz, Rainer Kempe, Alex Foxen, Wiktor Malinowski, Sami Kelopuro, Bert Stevens, Adrian Mateos, Guillaume Nolet, and Timothy Adams. Rising stars such as Yuri Dzivielevski, Brunno Botteon, Joakim Andersson, Pablo Brito Silva and Matthias Eibinger are also signed up.

This High Roller showdown features a starting stack of 100,000 and levels of 15 minutes. First cards will be in the air at 9 p.m. CET and there is plenty of time for players to jump in, as late registration is available for the first 18 levels until 2 a.m. CET. During the registration period, unlimited re-entries are allowed and the top 12% of the field will be paid.

As one of the flagship events of the festival, this is a two-day tournament and Day 1 concludes when the nine-handed final table has been reached. All finalists then receive a short break as the showdown will recommence on Tuesday, March 2. Cards-up coverage and commentary will be available then on the GGPoker Twitch channel.

Stay tuned for all the high stakes action, as the PokerNews live reporting team will be there from start to finish.
