Shanked Again
Shashank Jain and the player on his left had been tangling all day.
So much so, that the player vowed to bust him, and was willing to put his money where his mouth is, betting $50 he would bust Jain in the next hour. Jain tried to ignore his rants, and didn't take the bet, before they got into it again.
Less than 15 minutes later, the two got heads up with Jain holding pocket kings. Jain flatted a flop bet when it came with two diamonds, and check-raised the offsuit turn. His opponent called, and when Jain checked a brick on the river, he shoved all in for 25,000.
Jain called, and when he turned over cowboys, his opponent showed for the missed open-ender turned bluff. In the end, he got up, knocked over his chair, slammed $50 on the table, and walked out.
Jain, who refused to accept the money, telling the floor to give it to charity, simply stacked the chips and moved out to a huge early chip lead on well over 100,000.
