Tran Sends Percal to the Registration Desk
Alan Percal is one of the most accomplished players in the field today, with a WSOP gold bracelet to his name. Percal captured his bracelet in the 2016 $10,000 Heads-Up Championship for a payday of over $320,000. Percal hasn't played a lot of poker since that but does dip into some high roller events from time to time.
He's had his hands full with David Tran from the start of the day and the two clashed again in another big pot. With around 40,000 already in the middle and the board reading , Tran announced all in from the blinds. Percal was left with around 18,000 behind and took his time before finally making the call.
Tran quickly flopped over for top pair and Percal wasn't able to beat as his cards hit the muck. Percal took off to the registration desk and was seen taking a new seat shortly after.
