There have been a few large pots recently on Table 20. We walked over after showdown with the losing player's cards already mucked while the dealer was counting out Marty Gorenc's stack for the double up he had just secured. Gorenc's was still tabled and the board read , signifying he had won with two pair.
On the very next hand, there was a four-way limped pot that saw a flop of . Action checked to a player in middle position who went all in for around 40,000. Michael Pempin was on the button and reraised all in, getting everybody else to fold.
