Zoller Wins First Pot of the Day
Erik Macias opened to 700 from middle position and was called by Nate Zoller on the button and Bob Sweeney, defending his big blind. The three saw a flop of and Sweeney checked to Macias, who made a continuation-bet of 1,000. Zoller called and Sweeney folded.
The turn saw both Macias and Zoller check, bringing the river where both players checked again to take the hand to showdown.
Macias reluctantly tabled , prompting Zoller to table and take down the pot with two pair, aces and jacks.
"Thanks Daniel, I wanted to win one today," Zoller said to the dealer.
"I appreciate you recognizing me, buddy," responded Daniel, the dealer.
"First one today?" said Macias from across the table with a smile on his face.
"Oh yeah! First scoop today!" said Zoller. He later chopped another pot to build to his stack bringing him back over 20K at present moment.
