Ferguson Dusted by Wilkie's Straight Flush
Steve Wilkie was overheard from an adjacent table saying he had made a straight flush. His hand of was still tabled on a board reading .
According to Wilkie, there was a raise and three calls ahead of him in the small blind before he peeled to see the flop, where he found himself with a flush draw.
Tablemate Will Givens and Wilkie confirmed that piles went in on the turn, when Wilkie checked to Richard Ferguson, who was on the button. Ferguson shoved all in and Wilkie called, having made a flush.
Ferguson showed for a straight and found himself drawing dead to Wilkie's flush. Wilkie then improved to a straight flush on the river, resulting in the aforementioned exclamation as he found a mountain of chips sent his way which totaled around 179,000 by the time it was stacked.
