Thorne Ships Three-Way Pot
Level 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
In the final hand of the previous level, Alejandro Romero raised to 100,000 on the button, Ramon Kropmanns called in the small blind and Adrian Thorne defended the big blind.
Kropmanns then led out for 125,000 on the 8?9?7? flop, which both of his opponents called. He sized up to 250,000 on the K? turn, and this time only Thorne called while Romero got out of the way.
The 8? river saw Kropmanns fire a third barrel of 275,000. Thorne spent a few minutes in the tank before making the call and showing down. Kropmanns tabled K?J? for two pair, kings and eights, but Thorne beat that with K?9? for two pair, kings and nines.
Thorne breathed a sigh of relief as he stacked his newly acquired chips and went on break shortly thereafter.
