Welcome to Day 1a of the 2023 The Grand Big Wrap 2,350 Main Event

Poker Room at King's Resort

Four card lovers from near and far are expected to head to the King's Resort in Rozvadov, host of the upcoming 2023 World Series of Poker Europe series in October and November 2023. Since September 12 and until September 18, 2023, The Grand Big Wrap PLO by $ZTO$ takes place in the Czech Republic and it is the eighth edition of the live poker event dedicated to the Great Game of Pot Limit Omaha.

The four-card live poker series debuted in Europe's biggest poker arena back in 2019 and Spain's Lautaro Guerra topped a 412-entry strong field in the first ever The Big Wrap 2,350 Main Event. PLO specialist Guerra is also attending the current festival as well and finished 13th in the 10,000 Diamond High Roller yesterday evening for 34,000.

It is the second edition of the popular PLO contest in the current year as the series already took place in early April. The 2,350 Main Event saw 199 unique players and 101 re-entries to generate a prize pool of 627,000. Anh Do, Rafael Schaefer, Keith Lehr and Diego Montone were among the notable finalists while Gergo Nagy and Aku Joentausta won High Roller Events.

Whether or not Guerra and many of the other PLO regulars will jump into the first of two starting days remains to be seen, because another high-stakes contest is taking place later today as well. The 10,000 Platinum High Roller is scheduled to determine a champion within the next two days. This doesn't rule out attending The Grand Big Wrap 2,350 Main Event, however, as the tournament features an extended late registration on Day 2 with a guaranteed prize pool of 500,000.

Day 1a and tomorrow's Day 1b both kick off at 3 p.m. local time and will complete a total of eleven levels of 45 minutes each. Unlimited re-entries are allowed for the entire day and the participants receive 100,000 chips to start their journey. Initial blinds will be 200-400 with a big blind ante of 400, providing everyone 250 big blinds in the first level.

Day 2 is then slated to kick off on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 2 p.m. local time. The level duration increases to 60 minutes each and the late registration will be open for the first two levels and following break. As usual, the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor from start to finish in order to provide as many of the four-card action as possible.
