One of the most popular game variants is certain to attract card sharks from near and far to Europe's biggest poker arena for the business end of the 2023 The Grand Big Wrap at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Pot Limit Omaha has gained traction throughout the last decade and the second edition in the current year takes place as special edition from September 12 to 18, dubbed the The Grand Big Wrap PLO by $ZTO$.

One of the marquee tournaments on the schedule is the 2023 The Grand Big Wrap 2,350 Main Event, which comes with a guaranteed prize pool of 500,000. Day 1a concluded yesterday with a total of 128 entries of which 46 players bagged up chips. That put the event on track to surpass the guarantee with more than half covered already and the busier flight to kick off at 3 p.m. local time.

The four-figure buy-in is accompanied by a set of 10,000 high-stakes competitions of which one already determined a champion. Quan Zhou defeated Eelis P?rssinen in heads-up to claim the top prize of 500,000 in the 10,000 Diamond High Roller. Many other big names made their way for Day 1 of the 10,000 Platinum High Roller which recommences at 2 p.m. local time with 32 players out of 60 entries remaining in the high-stakes section of the poker arena.

While the High Roller regulars are busy upstairs, Day 1b of the 2,350 Main Event will play a total of 11 levels of 45 minutes each. All players receive 100,000 in chips and the starting blinds will be 200-400 with a big blind ante of 400. There is a break every three levels with a 30-minute dinner break after level six and unlimited re-entries are allowed all day long.

As a matter of fact, the late registration for the tournament remains open until the end of level 13 and following break. That will be two levels into Day 2 on Sunday, September 17, 2023, as of which the duration increases to 60 minutes each. A winner will then be crowned the following day on the live-streamed feature table right here in Rozvadov.

Chip leader so far is King's regular Tomasz Kozub, who turned his 100,000 into 807,000 on Day 1a. Whether or not anyone will be able to surpass that impressive figure on Day 1b remains to be seen.

You can follow all of the four-card action right here on PokerNews as the live reporting team will be on the floor to provide updates all day long.
