The end of the first level is over and we’ve lost about 25 players so far. A frustrated figure at the end of the level is Marty Mathis. He just raised to 2,250 and was called by Daniel Asualdo in the next seat before Luis Bedoya re-raised to 11,000 from the BB. Mathis wanted to know how much Bedoya had left but all he would say was that he had Mathis covered. Mathis pointed out that he needed to know exactly as it was important because of how his stack related to Asualdo’s stack. He got his answer and folded shaking his head. He has just 19,000 now and the big blind just rose to 1,200.
