In the Money

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The bubble has burst. There is a redraw now so the clock has been stopped. Details of the bubble will follow shortly.

Hand for Hand

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The tournament is still on the bubble with 28 players remaining. Thomas Kremser had announced the tournament plays hand for hand now. So everything goes on a much slower pace, let's see who bubbles!

Dmitrii Pashpekin Doubles On the Bubble

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Dmitrii Pashpekin pushed all in for 34,000, and Aleksandr Orlov made the call from the big blind. Orlov himself was short stacked as well, and would only have 50,000 left if he would lose.

Pashpekin had {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and was up against {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. The {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop didn't do much, but the {4-Clubs} changed some things. The deuces would give Orlov a straight, but all clubs were good for Pashpekin.

The river {9-Spades} was a complete blank and Pashpekin doubled up. Orlov is now the short stack.

Yildiz Rivers Trips

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Oleksii Khoroshenin opened for 12,000 form middle position, and Sevket Yildiz on the button three bet to 26,000. All players folded, Khoronoshenin made the call.

Khoroshenin check called the 21,000 bet from Yildiz on {8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and the {4-Clubs} hit the turn. Both players checked this card, and Khoroshenin checked again on the {9-Spades}-river. Yildiz bet 65,000 with a very calm demeanor.

Khoroshenin thought for about a minute before Yildiz called for the clock. Though it was a little bit fast, the floor did give Khoroshenin the one minute warning. Before time was up he made the call, but would lose to Yildiz who had {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

While Yildiz raked in the chips, he talked to Kerem Kiyak for a bit. Kiyak suddenly turned to Dmitriy Grishin and asked him with an angry voice if he was "talking with his eyes" to Khoroshenin. Grishin laughed, but Kiyak wasn't joking. Kiyak looked very angryand repeated the question. Grishin rolled with his eyes and play continued.

Iurii Slastushenskii Eliminated in 31st Place

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Before the flop all the chips went to the middle for Iurii Slastushenskii and Nikolay Prokhorskiy.

Nikolay Prokhorskiy, who just minutes ago doubled with ace-six, now had to fade those cards. Prokhorskiy himself had {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}, while Slastushenskii had {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The flop showed a six, but he wouldn't improve any further: {4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

Prokhorskiy Doubles

Viacheslav Igin opened from middle position to 12,000, and called Nikolay Prokhorskiy's big blind shove for 43,000 after some thinking.

Igin had {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and needed to improve if he wanted to knock out Prokhorskiy who had {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board helped no one, and Prokhorskiy doubled.

Small pot for Yildiz

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sevket Yildiz opened for 12,000 from the cutoff, and Mustafa Biz in the big blind was the only caller.

Biz check called the small 6,000 bet on {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, and both players checked the {6-Clubs} on the turn. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Biz checked again. Yildiz bet out 12,000 and Biz made the call.

Yildiz showed {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Biz mucked.
