Rebei Clocks Himself
Level 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Karim Rebei and Anton Markov built a pot of more than 100,000 on a board of when Rebei bet 60,000 from the button. Markov, from early position, then shoved all in.
"I don't like it," Rebei said as he tanked with about 40,000 remaining. "Ace-king can't win. Did you really call ace-queen 26,000 preflop?"
Rebei eventually called the clock on himself. The countdown reached zero and Rebei pretended to put his chips in but eventually mucked.
"Show the queens," a tablemate said, but Markov returned his cards face down.
"He had queens, probably. Or ace-queen," Rebei added.
