Celine Zimmermann Eliminated in 10th Place ($3,750)

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Celine Zimmerman

Dmitry Koleznev called from the cutoff as did James O'Brien from the button and Furkan Beg in the small blind. Celine Zimmermann, who only had 5,000 chips behind, checked her option.

The flop came {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Koleznev asked if he could only bet 5,000 before being informed he had to bet a minimum of 50,000. He made it 50,000 and both O'Brien and Beg called while Zimmermann flicked in her final blue chip.

Players checked down the {10-Spades} turn and the {10-Diamonds} river. Zimmermann turned over {k-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Koleznev had the best hand, showing {j-Clubs}{7-Spades} to eliminate the Russian.

O'Brien and Zimmermann Trade Double Ups

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

James O'Brien limped on the button before Celine Zimmermann moved all in for 300,000 from the big blind. O'Brien made the call.

Celine Zimmermann: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
James O'Brien: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Zimmermann had O'Brien crushed and held when the board ran out {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} to double up.

Zimmermann and O'Brien would tussle again when O'Brien moved all in for 485,000 from under the gun and Zimmermann called on the button.

James O'Brien: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Celine Zimmermann: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

This time it was a fair race and there was a queen in the window however the flop came {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} which gave O'Brien a set and put him firmly in control. The turn was of little help as it came the {4-Clubs} and the river came the {10-Hearts} to give O'Brien the double up.

"I'm Sorry, Straight Flush." Beg Runs Bluff into Koleznev's Monster

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Dmitry Koleznev
Dmitry Koleznev

Dmitry Koleznev opened to 100,000 from the button and Furkan Beg defended his big blind.

Both players checked the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop but Beg came firing for 100,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn. Koleznev called.

On the {8-Clubs} river, Beg jammed over the top of Koleznev. Koleznev replied: "I'm sorry, straight flush" as he put his chips in and turned over {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Beg attempted to muck but the dealer turned over his {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}, telling Koleznev: "That's the only card you call me with!"

After the dealer counted out Koleznev's chips, the damage to Beg was an additional 530,000 chips.

Maugini Gets Paid After Slow-Playing Full House

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Vittorio Maugini
Vittorio Maugini

Celine Zimmermann opened from the cutoff for 100,000 and Vittorio Maugini tried to three-bet to 250,000 but the dealer ruled that the way he put his chips in only allowed him to three-bet to 200,000. Zimmermann made the call.

The players checked the {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop as well as the {6-Clubs} turn.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Maugini put in a bet of 175,000 and Zimmermann confidently snap-called and turned over {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

However, Zimmermann's call was incorrect as she ran into the Italian's flopped full house with {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, which left her on under 10 big blinds.

Koleznev's Pocket Threes Hold to Double Up

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dmitry Koleznev bet 315,000 from middle position, leaving 15,000 behind. Furkan Beg then shoved from the cutoff and action folded around to Koleznev, who used two of his six time banks before making the call.

Dmitry Koleznev: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Furkan Beg: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Koleznev was ahead with a pair of threes and was in great shape after the {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop.

The {k-Diamonds} came on the turn, denying Beg any chance of a flush.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and the Russian enjoyed a full double up.
