Monster Hand Clash Leads to Double Elimination
After proclaiming about the lack of eliminations witnessed so far, the poker Gods seem to have intervened. Once the dust had settled on the last hand, two players had busted, whilst one takes the early chip lead.
It began with a 600 open from Anton Katsoulakis over on newly-opened Table 4. Rungarun Thongnonsung flat called on his left and the small blind did the same. Over to the big blind and he raised to 2,600. Katsoulakis flatted and Thongnonsung decided to move all in for 18,600. It was enough to convince the small blind to step aside but not the big blind player, who went all in over the top for a total of 30,000. The action didn't stop there, with Katsoulakis over calling and the trio turned over their cards.

The flop ran out , holding for the preflop favorite and, with the most chips in play, it signalled the end for the other two players. It is unlikely to be the last of Thongnonsung as she told PokerNews she was probably going to re-enter as she headed towards the registration desk.
