Nguyen Doesn't
We understand Kenny Nguyen lost most of his chips after running his pocket jacks into two aces preflop. That left him with under 20,000, and we just watched him lose most of those as well.
Gerald Jenkinson opened the pot with a raise, and he called a three-bet from Nguyen to go heads up to the flop. It came , and Jenkinson led out with 3,000. Nguyen called, and he called another 6,000 on the turn. Jenkinson checked the river, and Nguyen bet 3,000 of the 4,300 he had left. Jenkinson quickly called, and Nguyen grinned as his hand was caught in the cookie jar. He showed up his miss, and his opponent's were good enough to knock Kenny down to just 1,300.
Four hands later, Nguyen put his last 900 in the pot, announcing, "Raise it!" despite not even having enough for the full big blind. He had , and he was unable to stay alive as an opponent's made trip aces on the turn and river.
GG, Kenny.
