Joe Sweeney raised from middle position to 1,200 and Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov called from the hijack seat. In the small blind was Jonathan Jaffe and he reraised to 3,800. Another Team PokerStars Pro, Jason Mercier, folded from the big blind before Sweeney and Katchalov made the call.
The flop came down and Jaffe fired 4,800. Sweeney ducked out of the way and Katchalov called to see the fall on the turn. Jaffe bet again, making a wager of 7,000. Katchalov studied for a bit and then raised to 20,000. Jaffe took a minute or two and then gave it up. Katchalov scooped the pot.

Scott Blackman opened to 1,100 from middle position, only to see Jason Mercier three-bet to 2,850 from the cutoff.
Blackman called and the flop ran down . Both checked, leading to the turn. Another check from Blackman and another check from Mercier brought the river. Blackman checked for a third time, prompting Mercier to bet 4,500. Blackman gave it up and Mercier won the pot to up his stack to about 53,000.

Joe Sweeney made it 1,000 to go from under the gun. Next next to act, Micah Raskin popped it to 4,000. Action folded back to Sweeney and he called.
The flop came down and Sweeney checked it to Raskin who fired 4,000. Sweeney put in a raise to 13,000 with Raskin calling to see the turn. A check from Sweeney led to a check from Raskin as well. The hit the river and Sweeney fired 15,000. Raskin let it go and surrendered the chip lead to Sweeney.

Micah Raskin opened to 600 from middle postion and Jimmie Guinther called on the button.
The flop fell and Raskin checked. Guinther bet 800, quickly seeing Raskin bump it to 2,500. Guinther kicked it in, surrendering the pot to Raskin who holds the early lead with about 60,000.
In between the last two hands, a spectator stood up and took one step toward the table. "Jason?" he asked. Mercier's head snapped around, and the fan continued, "Jason, can you send me five bucks on Stars? Please?"

Eugene Katchalov opened to 600 from under the gun and Jason Mercier called from the hijack. In the cutoff, Taylor von Kriegenbergh re-raised to 3,000. Only Mercier called to see the flop come down .
Mercier checked and von Kriegenbergh bet 4,100, unable to shake Mercier. The turn fell the with Mercier checking once again. After a few moments, von Kriegenbergh bet 8,000. Mercier gave it up after about a minute, yielding the pot to von Kriegenbergh who showed .
