Overton Gets That Shove-y Feeling

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

First in from early position, Aaron Overton open-shoved for about a half-million chips total. The table folded around to Dan Shak's small blind, and he took pause for a couple long minutes before releasing, and Overton faced no further opposition. Taking down those blinds and antes adds 88,000 chips to his stack.

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer - 8th Place
Steve O'Dwyer - 8th Place

Action folded to the small blind Vincent Rubianes and he moved all in to put the pressure on Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind. O'Dywer made the call and put himself at risk for his last 470,000 or so.

O'Dwyer: {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Rubianes: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Rubianes picked up a pair of queens to take the lead. The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} to give Rubianes trip queens and leave O'Dwyer drawing dead. The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds}.

Rubianes finished with a full house, queens over tens, and moved to about 2.5 million in chips. O'Dwyer exited and left with over $32,000 in prize money for his eighth-place finish.

The flop, turn and river ran out {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Hoglund Jr. moved to 866,000 in chips. Tehan was left with approximately 600,000.

O'Dwyer Comes Back with a Double

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

A few hands after having his stack crushed by Aaron Overton, Steve O'Dwyer was all in for 149,000. Overton made the call and everyone else folded. O'Dwyer was at risk with the {K-Diamonds}{3-Spades} to Overton's {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

The flop and turn kept Overton in the lead with the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} coming down, but the {K-Clubs} on the river was exactly what O'Dwyer was looking for. He earned the double up and is back to 390,000 in chips.

Overton Backs Into Flush to Double

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer moved all in and Aaron Overton called all in for less. Everyone else had folded. Overton held the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and O'Dwyer the {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and O'Dwyer picked up the lead with a pair of sevens. Overton was the shorter stack and at risk of elimination if he couldn't find help on the turn or river.

The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and Overton picked up a flush draw. The river completed that flush draw with the {9-Diamonds} and Overton sprung from his chair to high five his railbirds sitting in the front row.

"Nine of diamonds, baby! Exactly the card I was thinking of! Nine of diamonds! That's my card!" he yelled as he celebrated with his friends before going back to collect his chips.

Overton was all in for about 350,000 and O'Dwyer was knocked back to 160,000.
