Aido Doubles on Hand #1
The floor had just called for the cards to be in the air and action folded to the small blind who raised to 300. Sergio Aido was in the big blind and opted to put in a three-bet to 1,100. The small blind called.
The 6?3?5? flop hit the felt and without much thought the small blind led out for 1,500. Aido sat in the tank for a moment and then raised to 3,500. The small blind instantly announced "all in" and Aido went into the tank.
After almost a full minute he flicked in the chips and the cards hit their backs.
Small blind: Q?2?
Sergio Aido: 10?10?
The small blind begrudgingly said "You're good" when Aido called but he still had a few outs to cool off Aido. Luckily the 3? turn and 10? river would only improve Aido and he got a pure double and the knockout on the very first hand of play.
