Day 2 of the 2024 PokerStars North American Poker Tour $5,300 Main Event kicks off at 12 p.m. today. A total of 841 hopefuls made their way to Resorts World Las Vegas for the first three starting flights, with just 287 advancing to Day 2.

However, registration remains open through to the start of Day 2, so those who were unable to find a bag still have an opportunity to try their luck. The prize pool for this event has already smashed the guarantee, with over $4,000,000 already collected.

Leading the way into Day 2 is Bin Weng. He build a big stack early in Day 1a and kept his momentum throughout the day on his way to a bag of 359,000. In second place is Michael Lavenburg with 307,500. Rounding out the podium in third place is Ryan Hughes with 304,500.
